What a beautiful way to spend our last night in Darwin.. Klimataria is so unique. So quaint. I just loved 🥰 the vibe and the way it’s all set out, and of that was due to the family that own and run the place. I felt like I was with my own! It’s accommodating comfortable and so Greek vibey. Foula and her family work together as a team and have created such a real Greek experience. In natural surrounds. Some trees and plants scattered throughout the balcony and soft lights I felt like I was transported to the village of Rhodes where my dad is from, where every night everyone gets together and eats drinks laughs and enjoys ... oh my god and the food!!! such authentic Greek food.. not commercialised like the ones we have these days. I dine out quite abit in Melbourne and we love Greek food,( being Greek ourselves ) but honestly this was just superb. And dished down in ways that you only get in Greece. A must to order is the seafood platter .. so fresh and so tasty! the Saganaki was so soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside .. wow! and the best Greek salad I have had in Australia. My parter loved the keftedes mussels and the prawns and the oysters the were spot on!!! Thanks foula and her family for such a lovely night xx and my happy tummy. Oh and at the end she brought over two complimentary shot of mastiha which we haven’t had since our trip to Greece. . 🇬🇷 this place is a must for anyone who want a...

I ate here last night with a friend and my teenage son. I am plant based and have other dietary requirements. I usually find it very difficult eating out and find most venues are not very accommodating or that they make you feel like a real bother and then supply you with something very plain like a garden salad with no sauce and tofu on top... This was not my experience here! I called ahead and asked if they could accommodate me and the lovely lady ran through with me what I could eat on the menu and what they could adjust easily for my requirements. She was warm and welcoming and did not make me feel like I was a bother. She told me she would "look after me" and she really did! The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered from the vegan menu, the stuffed capsicum, the giant beans and the stewed chickpeas. My friend who was doing share plates with me and is not plant based devoured it and mentioned how delicious it all was. My teenage son who had his own meal of Greek bolagnese even got stuck into the vegan plates and said they were delicious. He especially liked the giant beans. My friend and teenage son also shared the chargrilled octopus which they said was amazing. For dessert my friend had the baklava and said this was lovely too... The venue is on a rooftop, half undercover with strung up lights and a very relaxed and comfortable Mediterranean vibe. Will definitely...

If someone had said there's an amazing greek restaurant in the middle of Stuart park in the industrial area for great prices I would of laughed. Darwin is expensive compared to Sydney and let me tell you greek fare is Very expensive there. Worth it but costly..... Anyway this place was exceptional in my honest opinion. In fact I've never had such generous portions or such what I know must be authentically Greek. Set on the rooftop in a laid back feel I had read reviews and knew the food would rock. The Saganaki was outstanding 👏 like seriously full of flavour and melted in your mouth. The Greek salad was slathered in olive oil and seasoned to perfection. When the lamb cutlets came out (five) it also had crispy chips thick tasty tzaziki and beautiful fluffy pita bread ughhhhh Lamb cutlet was so tender it was delicious 😋 By this stage I'm already in a food coma and then comes the $80 platter! It had scallops in amazing cream sauce with a bug aswell both devine. Mussells were good albeit slightly overcooked. Oysters so plump and tasty. Lightly floured calamari octopus two amazing huge prawns. List just goes on. Anywhere else that platter would be 150. The best thing about it was the perfect seasoning and love in everything served. You just rarely get this at all. Love to come back one day when we return to darwin!!! And thank you 😊 Oh ps the sunset...

What a birthday dinner! There is so much variety of food, everything we tried was good enough to be a meal by itself, robust flavours and interesting things we couldn't think of how they make it. From the dip centre to the pasta marinara it was all exquisite! The red wine list is also very interesting - I had a glass of their Syrah and a bottle of their port for the table, such interesting flavours I haven't had this much interest in reds since my trip to Adelaide. Yes these are my photos (semi-pro).

I was so sad when the owners closed their previous venue. I was so excited to find out they started their new adventure. The only thing people need to be mindful of is they are a small family owned and operated business, who serve AMAZING food. As a result some nights can be quite busy but it's well worth the wait. The portions are very generous and it's not uncommon for people to be satisfied with the entrees. If you're looking for an authentic Greek meal, look no further.
