As other people said, the beef ribs are amazing but it stops there. I tried the friend rice, it was okay, the rice is a bit old. The pork ribs plum sauce is nice but coated in thick flour so the pork is only 10% of the whole portion and it has some pork skin and bone shard. The noddle is a bit weird. They are either have soggy style or crsuty deep fried noodle, no stir fried noodle. The service is ok, the room is very echo-y so not suitable for a big group if you want to have nice conversation as you can't hear clearly. The place is clean, no oily smell coming out of the kitchen. The price is very reasonable, especially the take away prices. Dine in price is about $7 extra per dish but the dish is also bigger. A few very social and chatty serviceable staff. Very popular with locals and car needed; lots of carpark. Make a Reservation!! The food was good and not spicy (we wanted spicy). The flavours were mild, noticeable but not memorable. Still enjoyable dishes with color. Beef pepper dish was memorable, some of the grilled squids were saltier, the roast duck (Not Peking) was acceptable. Overall an enjoyable dining experience. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Darwin. The owners have been here, from Guangzhou originally, and have been operating for 15 years. Great seafood quality and selection. Can even do catch and cook. Or if you want some local fresh fish/crabs, just call and request beforehand and they will source for you.
