After living in Thailand for over 10 years I can guarantee that the food here at Medee is authentic Thai food, exactly like you get in Thailand. Menu has a good variety of all the Thai favourites like larb, grapow, phad Thai, Tom yum etc and also a nice variety for vegetarians too! Normally eating at a Thai restaurant for the first time I will order something like a phad Thai as its an easier dish to please me but I went for the green curry instead which is a hard one to make me happy with. After explaining how I would like this dish it came out exactly as I wanted it!! Creamy sauce with all the original ingredients used in Thailand.. Eggplant, yard long beans, peppers, tofu mushroom and my favourite (which I didn't think they would have) Thai basil!! I also asked for this medium spicy and it came with a fantastic spicy kick, just how I like it!!! Beautifully aromatic flavours just plow through your taste buds with this dish, FANTASTIC!! The white steamed rice was also well cooked, not stodgy but light and not sticky!! I'm wondering if because I spoke Thai, they realised that I can indeed eat spicy food and gave it that spicy kick you don't get from other places when ordering spicy?.. Service was super friendly from everyone. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with AC, all cutlery was Plenty of parking outside in this area and free to. A fantastic place to eat Thai food and if you have never been to Thailand but wondered what Thai food is like then here is an absolute guarantee that you will get food exactly as you would in Thailand!! 👍

We had lunch at Medee and ordered from the lunch specials. We ordered the crispy pork, green curry with tofu, chicken larb and chicken satay skewers. First came the pork belly and it was delicious. Then it was the larb and the green curry. As soon as I tried the curry I was transported back to Pai (north of Chiang Mai) in my mind. Flavours were delightful. Every dish was amazing. We didn't have to wait long for the food and the serves were reasonable. We were very happy and satisfied with the meals. Highly recommended. We'll be back for sure. Ps. I missed out on trying the laksa dumplings, I'll add more pictures when we go back

Darwin you absolute corker. Medee eatery would be treasured in any city you visit but to have great Thai food in the suburbs is a real treat. And not just the regular Thai dishes familiar to all but some of the really interesting house spice blends and the crispy fresh vegetables familiar from Thai street food. Loved our meal here and highly recommend.

I’ve lived all over Australia, in almost every capital city, and quite frankly, this is the best Thai I’ve eaten outside of Thailand. Dined here with two young children, and they have decided it’s their new favourite restaurant full stop.

Dumplings with prawn, squid and chicken in curry was melt in your mouth and mild enough for the kids. The red duck curry and Kee Mow we’re full of flavour, while the crispy chicken and chicken with noodles and cashews was perfect for the kids.

Atmosphere was great and the service first rate. They’ve just started doing BYO, which helped to complement the meal. Serving sizes were modest, good value for money, but get a couple of dishes if you’re hungry.

This has become our new regular, we’ll be back...
