Silks — Restaurant in Northern Territory

Very poor service. We ordered steak, which was served with out proper cutleries when requested for steak knife they told they are busy today and there is no knife. I asked how will we eat the steak he said he will go and get it but I never got a knife and interesting we had to share 1 knife with in the table , 4 of us ordered steak. Later, raised the issue with the manager who went and brought the knife by then we all managed to finish our food ( that quick!). Also, I really felt very uneasy as one of the team member ( manager) approached and requested to keep our kids sound low ..... understandable, however noticed that rules are different to each group because as soon as he said this he went to another table and started conversation laughing and talking loudly which continued for some time, the kids in that table was louder than our kids which was perfectly fine with him. I really could feel a very different approach he took for both ethnicity..... maybe its just me but wait ..... my friend also felt the same uneasiness of how he treated our kids and the other table. Honestly waste of money , it ruined our entire event and evening.. took the cake withus to cut however, decided we will not cut the cake there and brought it home. Over all very bad experiences and Very poor service. Will not recommend. Make sure if you are planning to eat stake please take a steak...

Went there after 9pm today and was asked to check in with my membership, I swiped my membership card and realized it was expired. The friendly guy at the reception asked if i would like to renew which i replied yes. He asked another lady to come and help him renew my membership but the lady told him we don't do this anymore and the guy said they can write a note of it or something and the lady said she is not doing it and walked away. The guy asked her to teach him so he can do it and she kept saying no while walking away. The guy asked her why not and she just kept saying she's not doing it and off she went. I ended up not renewing and checking in as a visitor. I probably won't sign up again in the future. I felt bad for the guy as he was just trying to do his job and help me but the lady's behavior was rude and unprofessional. As a customer i felt uncomfortable and i could tell the guy was too.

A Sports bar with amble space, Large TV’s, Betting Facilities, Pokies, Dining Room, an outdoor and rooftop areas. It was a midweek night, pretty quiet throughout the venue and we just wanted somewhere quiet for dinner. We tried to book a table for 2 at the dining room but we were told that there were no small tables available. A bit disappointing they couldn’t accommodate us as the venue was quiet and they had few staff walking around. So we ended up seating in the sportsbar area in front of the the TV screens. We ordered dinner and drinks at the bar but the waiter/barman had no idea what the specials were and also messed up our drinks order. The Lamb shank wasn’t hot enough but seasoned well and the Spanish Parmigiana was tasty. Overall, it was a very deflating experience with an attractive looking venue, food was fine but the front of house staff needs more training on services and being hospitable. Food -3 Service...
