On Monday 20.12.2021 We ordered samosa and 3 other dishes as entry. On menu it clearly mentioned 6 pieces of samosa per plate. But they served 3 pieces. When questioned, the waiter replied 3 samosa they served were bigger version than what they advertised on menu🤔🤭🤭🤭. To me they are are not big. What memories of india don't under stand is if they advertised on menu 6 they have to serve me 6 regardless the size. If they try to explain different version of samosa than they are cheating customers.
We ordered Malai Kofta and khadai panne along with naans. It was salty. At first i didn't complain . But when waiter asked me how is the food, I replied Malai kofta was salty, rest other dishes are good. When I went to pay the bill both ladies at counter (1 who served our table and other I don't know wether she is team leader or chef) they try to explain me that they check the food before it was served and it is not salty, and both ladies try to convince me bcoz I eat less salt at home may be I felt malai kofta salty🤣🤣🤣🤣. How about other dishes???? Did they added salt or not Just malai kofta salty that's it. If they are not ready to accept their mistake they can never improve. Of course mistakes happen. But don't say I eat less or more salt. Accept ur mistake and try to improve from there. Food was ok but not recommended to go their. One more thing to add, there was family sitting next to our table. They received complimentary as papadum, onion and lemons but for us nothing. So don't expect...
Read moreThis is third time happening something like this with us. Yeah we still eat because it's our nearest option and my husband is vegetarian so out of options sometimes we have to order or take food from here. We ordered one chicken biryani and one vegetarian biryani and now in an hour me and my husband's both has severe stomach pain and is upset. We felt when we started eating that the rice is old because it was all dried up but it was late for dinner and we were so tired, we still ate. We might have to see doctor if this doesn't stop till morning but is way too much for low quality food, doesn't mean anything if it just tastes good but the quality of food matters the most. Earlier also we came for dine in and we had chana and biryani it was same all dried up old rice hard to eat and chana had less chana and all onions I don't know what you guys are trying to do, Burn people's stomach and heart? That time we even told the girl and guy on the counter and their reply was "that's only how we make food" with stupid attitude. Next time even though we would have to order from somewhere else far, we will because today we suffered alot. Not sure if restaurants have food quality test or checks...
Read moreFood was average at best and portions fairly small. Paid for our table of 4 which I didn't mind spending $185 for given we had 3 entrees, curry and rice each. 3 out of 4 of us had a soft drink too however when I asked for an itemised receipt the staff were unable to charge for drinks and put this down as nan's instead at 5 and 6.90 each. We were charged for more than what we actually bought and when I questioned this two staff could not understand what I was explaining and insisted I was charged correctly. I tried to explain that we were over charged a drink (written down as a nan at $5) as I had table water for myself and everyone else had a drink. However they insisted the charge was correct and that each person was to be charged a drink each...I just accepted this at the time as it was not worth the embarrassment and hassle however just be aware they may try rip you off too. Check your receipts and be aware portions are very small for a curry which you pay approx $28 for. Rice at $5.50 a serve is like the 2 min packet rice you put in the microwave...
