Uppercrust Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in Northern Territory

I decided to buy lunch at this place - the first time I have ever been there. After waiting for nearly 10 minutes for my turn to be served, I ordered a simple sandwich on multigrain bread, with avocado, roast chicken and sliced boiled egg as the filling. Cost was $8.10 which I thought was a little steep, but I did get avocado and egg, so that may have boosted the price up. I took the sandwich with me and ate it when I got home 10 minutes later.

It was the most terrible sandwich I have ever had! The bread was dry, I don't know what the green stuff was but it didn't taste anything like avocado. There was WAY too much salt and pepper - in parts of the sandwich, this was all I could taste - it even overshadowed the not-avocado-green-stuff! But the worst was the "roast chicken". This was some chemically processed "plastic" chicken. I thought I had purchased a really healthy sandwich. But really it was just full of fake ingredients. Zero stars for the sandwich.

The only good thing I will say about this place is that the lady that served me was VERY happy, smiley, friendly, and efficient. When I finally did get served, she was quick. So thank you to that lady. You boosted my rating up to two stars.

But please, Uppercrust - stop touting yourself as a "healthy" sandwich bar when you are serving such second-rate sandwich...

Ordered bacon n egg toastie on brown bead no butter and a mocca... 25 minutes later got white bead not toasted with butter and a warm mocca less coffee...gateways uppercrust staff must be deaf. I will not go back there paid 11.50 and couldn't even eat it and not enough time to...

Ordered a wrap and a Iced Mocha, took over 20 mins to make. They forgot the sour cream on the wrap, and the ice cream in the mocha or simply didn't use enough.
