Peter's Cafe Oberon — Restaurant in Oberon

Extremely rude staff and very sad to see a local rural business treat visitors to oberon in this way. We were a small riding group (6 of us) that stopped at Peters Cafe at lunchtime as we passed through Oberon. The shop was empty as apposed to the other oberon cafes so we decided to spread the love and all dine at Peters Cafe. We thought this would be a great way to support such a business during the COVID-19 restrictions. We were wrong. The older gentleman and lady behind the counter were both extremely rude and did not want to cook any of their lunch menu for us because (in their words) their was to many of us (6 people). WOW! Honestly couldnt have been more satisfied with the overall experience here since the change of ownership of the cafe. Oberon has been needing a place like this for a LONG time. Great staff, great menu, and great food! And the change of paint makes the place feel alot more welcoming too. My mates and I went in to suss it out and we couldnt fault a thing! Though, its only a little expensive, it absolutely felt worth the money after I finished my meal. I ended up getting the Oberon Gourmet Burger added some extras, and it is honestly one of the best burgers I have EVER had! Spent the weekend in Oberon for a wedding and happened to stumble across Peter's cafe. Unassuming from the outside but very warm and welcoming on the inside, I couldn't fault anything. The breaky was beautiful as was the coffee and fresh juices, so much so i had to got back the next morning for round 2!
