Dum Dum Dumplings — Restaurant in Orange

Came here with 2 others for a dinner. Food is quick, tasty and authentic.

We ordered Stir Fried Beef with Rice Noodles, Singapore Noodle, Deluxe Fried Rice & Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. The Stir Fried Beef with Rice Noodles and Deluxe Fried Rice were our favourites - great flavour, with lots of ingredients (vegetables, meats, etc.) to compliment the rice/noodle staples. The Singapore Noodle was very good as well - although we preferred the Stir Fried Beef with Rice Noodles and Deluxe Fried Rice more. The Singapore Noodle also had lots of onions - a little too many for our liking! Surprisingly, the Pork Dumplings weren't as nice as we'd expected - even though the restaurant is named after their dumplings! The serving sizes are on the larger size - very good value for money.

The staff were attentive, cooking time was quite quick as well. Atmosphere is pretty generic though - nothing fancy, just tables, chairs and cutlery.

Overall, you can't fault the quality of the food here - very authentic Chinese, with large serving sizes - you will be satisfied. Give this place a go if you want a quick meal, or if you just need some Chinese comfort food after a long week!...

Decent local Chinese if you're looking for an easy feed. Fried dumplings were cooked well although I'd say the dish was a tad expensive. Probably be cheaper if they were made in house. Had the Wonton noodles. Soup base was pretty bland even thought I wasn't expecting anything more than powder stock. Noodles are thicker than I'd like but might just be my preference. Wonton were OK. Having only tried this Chinese in Orange it's a hard call. Would I go back? Probably for something easy. Did it wow me? Not particularly. I can say the place does seem well run and thoroughly appreciated by locals. What else can you ask for...

Delicious dumplings made quickly. Fried rice with veg had lovely fresh broccoli. My favourite were the combination boiled dumplings with the soy, vinegar ginger sauce on the table. Simple restaurant but tasty and good. Many patrons ordered take away but there are a few simple tables for dining in. There was a high chair available if needed. There were a good range of cold drinks and a trolley of condiments. My child thinks this is the best food ever, so safe to say this is kid friendly fare. Would definitely...
