Ok so just to make it clear, I am not generally the type of person to complain or make a fuss over little incidents but the way staff made me feel tonight was disgusting. I’ve Personally never had a problem ordering from loc sing until tonight. firstly, I rang to order for myself and my work colleagues for dinner as we were on late shift. loc sing is a common place we order most Friday nights, however with the 3 in 1 combo they always, if we ask, replace the 3 prawn cutlets with spring rolls if requested and we have never had an issue for the past two years we’ve ordered. Last week we even ordered the 3 in 1 without prawn cutlets and they replaced it with spring rolls without an issue. now the lady I was speaking to didn’t speak English very well but I was patient and just clarified to her she wasn’t understanding what I was ordering which I said kindly. She then put me onto another lady who I then repeated to tell her my order again and she then begun to tell me if I want spring rolls they are dinner packs not the 3 in 1 ( rudely ) so I was like ok fine put them under this and so she did. when I arrived I asked for a new paper menu that had dinner packs on them. She gave me another “new” copy of the menu however dinner packs were not listed anywhere. I asked her nicely where they were listed and she advised me they are lunch packs but at dinner even though it says 11:00am till 2:00pm. I was baffled at how rude and impatient she was and to expect customers to know things on the menu that aren’t even listed. I was polite the whole time and the colleagues and I that ordered actually work in customer service and have been getting loc sing for years. both outside of work and during work. Just a tip to the staff being rude learn some patience and maybe you will not lose regular customers and like I said I work in customer service and I understand everyone will get painful customers but at the end of the day I was kind and I wasn’t to know you offered things that were not on the menu, and I know for sure if I ever spoke to a customer that way, not only would I get in trouble for speaking to someone that way but my career of choice would be in question to. Read moreOrdered food an hour and a quarter ago, and menu log keeps increasing the waiting time. It was down to 6 minutes now it’s another quarter of an hour. I tried to call but they hung up on me twice.
Finally they answered the phone, couldn’t find the order, then said they had sent it, then said it wasn’t ready, then blamed menu log as they hadn’t come for it. Then they said they were just sending it but the time has just increased again by 20 minutes so we will be waiting almost 2 hrs.
Update: food arrived after an hour and a quarter and was missing the rice. Cant be bothered ringing the restaurant after the rudeness and lying earlier. Menu log might refund...
Read moreWe’ve come here a few times with family we’re not local to Orange, but each time we visit, the food is always great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the meals taste fantastic every time.
The only small downside during our recent visit was that the meals came out quite spread apart. Some of us received our food and had to start eating while others were still waiting, and two meals arrived a bit later than the rest. We shared while we waited but it would have been nice if it came out all together.
