Very disappointing experience. Customer service is non-existent. When i walked in, the first challenge was finding a clean table.... The majority of the tables were covered in dirty dishes from previous customers. No table service..... even for a coffee, you get a buzzer. Staff not engaged and looked as keen to get out of there as I was. Pitty as it's a lovely venue and has so much potential.

I was there for over a hour and not once did any member of staff bother to come and clean up any of the putrid tables. Beyond poor.

There are sooo many better cafe options in Orange, so give this one a miss.

Edit: Popped in again out of sheer desperation on 18/8/24... again, place was an absolute shambles. Tables littered with dirty dishes. People standing waiting to place orders. Absolute chaos. Staff were completely overwhelmed. I walked out. Along with two other people who were sick of waiting to be served.. Management needs to sort...

Saturday 13 June 2020, lunch for 3 people. From the all-day breakfast menu, we ordered eggs benedict, two orders of avocado toast, two coffees and a pot of tea. Total a bit over $63.

It was the SMALLEST serve of avo toast I have EVER had. For $15.90, you get one slice of sourdough (not a large slice by any means) with avocado, topped with three cherry tomato halves (i.e. 1.5 cherry tomatoes), and a sparse sprinkling of tiny feta crumbs. That's it.

After we left the café, my friends and I discussed whether the kitchen got our order wrong, and split one order of avo toast across two plates. If that’s the case, I was ripped off to the tune of $15.90.

Everything else was very nice - eggs benedict, tea and coffee – no issues with those at all. The serving size for the eggs benedict was good. Also no issues with service time or staff friendliness; staff were nice and the food/drinks was...

We went to this coffeeshop on Easter Monday. When ordering, the young lady behind the counter was a bit rude and said they can't cook is anything (1pm) and I need to order what is out there already. My daughter is a fussy eater so I came back and specifically asked if they have any sausage roll and she said no. 30 min later a family next to us had sausage roll so I went and asked how it is possible without any apologies or explanation she said she needs to warm it up. I ordered one and paid but could see how inconvenience I have caused to her. I was sitting there and could see how she was happy and helpful with Australian looking and sounding clients. This is first time I am writing a negative review for a cafe / restaurant but I am hoping the manager / owners see this and do a bit of cultural competency training for their staff. After all orange is a tourist destination and this...

Enjoyed a chicken and vegetable pie for lunch that could have been slightly more moist for my taste, and purchased a small selection of small cakes and cookie to take away. Experienced problem with ordering said items as incorrect labels were displayed, leading to confusion 😕 and resulted in staff having to spend a lot more time with the order. Another person I spoke to in the shop said they ordered a caramel tart by the label in front of it but ended up with one that had macadamia nuts and not what they wanted. I found out it was salted caramel that was behind said label, so they missed out. Large cakes here are very expensive compared to shop at Dubbo. No prices displayed for their bread, which I personally find annoying. Is it free or are we meant to guess??

Great space to enjoy your coffee and cake with numerous sitting options depending on your mood. Great old building with wonderful architecture inside and visually a treat , well laid out decorated and comfortable relaxing vibe. Great smily team , polite and helpful. Lovely display of products on display. Great layout easy to navigate and large pricing board excellent for those with struggling eyesight. My cake was delicious, fresh and coffee the same. Highly recommended this spot for a pit stop , quick lunch or tasty treat .

Fantastic service from the team at Orange organising a surprise birthday cake. The team took a phone order at very late notice, personalised with a hilarious message, made it extra pretty with cream and strawberries and it was delivered to the workplace exactly as planned. A very happy birthday girl and happy team to share the cake!! Looked delicious and I'm assured it tasted great too! FULL MARKS! (apologies not the best photo sent by a hungry birthday girl)
