I went to my local Red Roster late at night. I ordered the Reds Box and a cheeseburger box. When I inspected the meals I noticed there was no potato and gravy. Which wasn’t a big issue so I drove back around to let them know they forgot the potato and grave. The lady on the microphone advised me that it wasn’t an issue and that if I drove around to the window she would give me them. When I drove around to the window they told me they didn’t have any. They didn’t offer me any extra sauce and said there was an extra pice of chicken to make up for it. I parked again as it was too much of an issue. I took one bite of my burger and realised that the chicken was really tough. It had the same texture as if you were bitting into raw chicken. I tried to inspect the chicken and noticed that it was a bit pink. At this point I lost my appetite. So I drove back around for the 3rd time and requested for a refund. They said there tills where closed but to come back the next day and we can give you your refund. When I returned for my refund the lady informed me that they can’t give us a refund because they hadn’t had any other complaints about raw chicken. She also said we check our chicken with temperature and quantity standards and that it didn’t meet the criteria for a refund. Despite me showing them at the window how tough the chicken was and even explaining that it was a bit pink they still could not give me a refund even after they communicated With both the manager and the big boss, confirming that I would receive the refund. I would not recommend buying chicken from orange red rooster. And the communication within this business...
Read moreI was quite surprised at the menu range red rooster now has, so much to choose from and the food was very nice, apart from my chips being a little too undercooked for my liking as I like mine with a little more crunch but other than that it was a very nice meal. Definitely will return to try other items on the menu. Red rooster have done their research and added more variety without compromising the signature taste and smell I remember as a kid. Read moreFor the management, the bread on the honey rippa roll was pathetic. It was hard and barely edible. There was barely enough sauce and the chicken size was small and not enough for the size. With this in mind. I will further complain. Do not reheat food. Make sure there is enough food on site to be cooked and don't reheat. Escalate when necessary for further food shipments. If there's not enough shipments per week ask for more.
To the staff there, you literally tried your best. I know it's difficult but if you are stressed; please don't swear under your breathe. Don't get mad at people of different nationalities. Focus on negotiating with management. When you focus well, you do your job well. It's when you get frustrated it's not done well. The chips were handle properly. They tasted good. The drink was the size ordered.
