The Greenhouse of Orange has yet left my family and I disappointed. Now I took a great understanding that being mother's day it will be busy but thats only half my issue. As I was in line to order my food, a huge bunch of staff were behind making coffee. One of the staff members came back with some coffee's and said he couldn't find the table number. I'm standing right besides this employee and I assume his Manager (was wearing a grey shirt different to all the other staff members so I assume his the Manager) looks at this poor boy and yells "I told you to tell everyone not to take the numbers off the table's and you didn't. So look at what you have done, just go find it and be quick about it there's more coffee to run GO". Not only could I believe the fact that his just yelled at this boy infront of everyone but embarrassed himself. I felt terrible for this staff member and couldn't help think that if this is the way staff are treated then I certainly won't be returning. I spoke to the staff member and asked if he was okay he said yes but truly you could tell he wasn't. Leaders are meant to lead NOT dictate.

Read moreNice atmosphere with large indoor and outdoor seating areas, a family room with games and activities like air hockey and large table top touch screen games, and an outdoor play area for kids. Large screen TVs everywhere mostly playing sports.
Place was quite empty while we were there on a weekday afternoon in school holidays and was rather self-serve (order food at bar, and all drinks ordered at a separate bar which you then carry yourself, and water is also self-serve). I would have expected a higher level of table service given the prices, but it's a very large restaurant and you are paying for the atmosphere and extra perks.
Had a chicken burger which had some really tasty bacon jam, but otherwise nothing special for $24. My wife enjoyed the mango chicken salad and kids had fish and chips. All sizeable portions and good quality, but nothing outstanding.
Was OK overall, but felt somewhat overpriced given food quality and level of service. Atmosphere with large dining areas and tables are a plus though and would be good for...
Read moreHUUUGE range of gins. Number of gins on the cocktail menu = 1. Asked for a very popular and basic gin cocktail - told could only use the bottom shelf Gordons Gin. Couldn’t possibly have a martini with the top shelf gin 🤔. Ok, gin and tonic will do. Asked to see the range of tonics - only one; Schweppes.
Upon departure, it was obvious that the staff had been communicating about my “outrageous” request and were making fun of us as we were leaving. “Oh yeah we better get a better range of tonics boys!”
The bar was stocked with a never ending array of top quality spirits - which you could not order from their online app.
Food was beautiful, drinks not so. The short European waitress was very obliging and brought a beautiful presence into the venue. 5 stars for her service!
Let’s not confuse the name- it may be a cocktail bar - if you’re into vodka and rum. Do NOT ask for anything “difficult”.
