Hand of Fatima Cafe — Restaurant in Peregian Beach

An unfortunate incident at this cafe. Last Monday I stopped for lunch, I’ve always enjoyed the food here. A day later I realized I was missing my sunglasses and on Wednesday it occurred to me that I may have left them at Hand if Fatima. I went down and spoke to the waiter who had served us. Without me saying anything about the sunglasses, the waiter said he remembered me leaving them behind and that he had put up on a high shelf behind the counter. He went to retrieve them for me but they were no longer there. The manager claimed that he didn’t know wher they were and none of the other staff could explain where they had gone. I take responsibility for leaving the glasses behind, but I am extremely disappointed that they have been removed from an area seemingly accessible only to the cafe staff. A Local Gem with Heart – and the Best Coffee Around!

We just want to give a massive shoutout to Dion, Nathan, and Nicola at Hand of Fatima for an incredible 4 months of absolutely the best coffee in the area and such warm, welcoming hospitality.

These three create more than just a great café experience – they foster a true community vibe that makes every visit something to look forward to. Their passion shows in every cup they pour and every smile they share.

What truly sets them apart, though, is just how dog-friendly they are. They go above and beyond by baking healthy, natural dog treats – and every pup gets one! Not only that, but they remember each dog’s name – a beautiful touch that really speaks to the kind of care they put into everything they do.

We’re already counting down the months until we’re back – only 8 more to go!

Mixed feelings on this place. Visited during the week on a recommendation at around 1130am asked if the they had an all day breakfast menu as it was still out on the tables. Very rude smart arse reply given that "we are simple folk here breakfast is at breakfast time and lunch is at lunch time". The attitude was poor and sarcastic needless to say I left and didn't even consider lunch. Returned this morning and complete turn around different owner who was friendly charming and helpful couldn't do enough for his customers, unfortunately he has sold his share and his last shift will be on Sunday.
