The food is pretty decent for on mountain. Not cheap, but given the cost of what you pay elsewhere and the quality of the food and portion size is reasonably good value. The service and waitstaff were friendly and efficient. Given how busy the place becomes at times, hats off to them all for providing a pretty good experience. Aldo's has indoor seating only that I saw. If you head down the corridor near the water and bar area, there is some more seating down the back. Some nice window views of the mountain if you can snag one. Would recommend trying the tomato bruschetta, which was tasty. The portion of chips was good, and were hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We tried the bbq chicken pizza as well. An upside is that you can purchase drinks (alcoholic, hot drinks etc) and some sweets (gluten free brownies, muffins etc) from the QR code menu, with a small downside that you can't order hot food or pizza from the same menu. Am not sure whether the QR code is a new feature. It seemed to take a long time for the QR code to bring up the menu. Overall a good visit, food, service, drinks were good. Staff were efficient, and there is water that you can grab yourself if you're parched from skiing or snowboarding! Would visit again.

So I posted a photo of the $8 worth of fruit toast I got. Not really impressed. I think the place has changed hands. The value is now lacking.

Title: Extremely Disrespectful Service Experience

My family and I recently visited your restaurant with our elderly parents and young children, hoping to recreate a fond memory of enjoying your delicious pizza from five years ago. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an incredibly rude waitress/manageress.

Upon entering the restaurant, due to some confusion, we unintentionally sat inside rather than outside without asking, where we had intended to enjoy our morning coffee. At 10:50 AM, instead of politely informing us of our mistake, the waitress, wearing a choker and specs, loudly and aggressively scolded us in front of other patrons. Despite our repeated apologies and explanation of the confusion, she continued to berate us openly, making us feel humiliated and unwelcome.

Her demeanor was not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. It was evident she had no regard for the fact that we were accompanied by elderly parents and young children. Her lack of basic customer service skills and empathy for our situation was shocking.

We came to your restaurant with high expectations based on our previous positive experience, but sadly, this waitress's behavior ruined what could have been a pleasant visit. No amount of tasty pizza can compensate for the emotional distress caused by such uncalled-for treatment.

In the future, I hope your staff undergoes training on how to handle situations with grace and respect, especially when dealing with confused or unintentionally disruptive patrons. A little kindness and understanding go a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

I regret to say that due to this incident, we will not be returning to your establishment. It's truly disappointing when a place with great potential fails so miserably in customer service. *choker a necklace that fits closely around the neck(she was wearing a black one).Yes, It was Monday 15th july. After having walked past many times over the years, finally decided to try Aldo’s for a significant number birthday celebration. Don’t normally leave reviews as have a good understanding of how the service industry works and that unfortunate things can occur but alas cannot say had a good experience as overall impression was that this place sits comfortably in the knowledge they will always make coin regardless being situated well on a mountain that has little good competition. Points for consideration:

sent email to book but received no acknowledgement went in day of morning without complaint simply to confirm but was treated quite abruptly and unfriendly by brusquely- mannered host at desk received text indicating kitchen would be closed that night due to understaffing and pizzas only would be offered to which I replied we still would like to retain our booking received a second text repeating same and to cancel if we chose not to keep booking. I again responded saying we would like to retain booking upon arrival no-one tended to us and confusion ensued with those trying to pay bill mixed with those waiting for takeaway and others wanting to be seated after being seated waited a long while to order a drink and ended up walking up to a staff member She told me to go to till where same long queue was. I finally ordered and same staff member who wouldn’t take order, brought order sat a long time waiting to order food before having to ask staff how to order food. At which point discovered there’s no table service at all on way out discovered there was a Specials board with cocktails and pizzas plus desserts in a window all of which we would have availed ourselves of had as first-timers been aware

We finally left with staff barely aware we were even there. Overall sad to say a disappointing...
