Hot chocolate is some of the best on mountain. Not cheap, but they offer many different varieties. The deluxe and thick Italian hot chocolate is worth if if you're in dire need of a chocolate fix and warm up. My preference is marshmallows, but they also offer cream for a more rich drink. Their biscuits weren't quite my cup of tea but they have quite the selection and some of them are quite large. Had other options such as sandwiches, panini and quiche things. Usually quite a line at busy times, but moves relatively fast. Some cafe seating, which can fill up fast, otherwise, plenty of other seating in the perisher building to use while you have your drink.

My favorite cafe on the mountain. Staff are friendly and consistent year on year (think they're the owners). Coffee is good and a great selection of desserts. Last year my son was so sick and my other son wanted to go out and ski, so they let me sit here nursing a coffee for a couple of hours in their comfy and warm shop while I waited for my other son. I will be back every time I'm visiting Perisher.

Easily the best coffee spot in Perisher. We usually stop in for hot chocolates, coffee, and sometimes an early snack before heading up the hill. The service is always friendly and fast, and the place has a vibrant buzz that sets the tone for the day. We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s consistently good. We’ll keep coming back for many seasons to come.

DON'T ABUSE THE STAFF I have been going to Brunelli's for decades for both the coffee, food and the banter. Bruno and Roberta have been an iconic part of the mountain culture and have always been a friendly face. They constantly go the extra mile and now they have stepped back to let the next generation step up, the same friendly atmosphere has continued.

There has been, however, a disturbing amount of abuse levelled towards the girls, Lauren, Jackie and Lily. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! If you have an issue, treat people with respect, sort it out with a cool head or walk away.

If you listen to the anger is some of the previous comments and imagine being confronted by that in person, you will probably understand what I am getting at. It is easy to take to social media and vilify someone or an organisation unfairly.

So I encourage you to read between the lines on those comments as the truth is often absent or at least altered to a state that bears little semblance of fact.

The staff work long hours with a busy workload and do not deserve to be treated as they have been. There are many regulars and staff members that will also step in if your behaviour becomes abusive.

We, the regular customers of Brunelli's will not stand idly by and do nothing. People behaving badly, you...

GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!

My friend and I watched as our two takeaway coffees were poured out of a machine where at the press of a button, it spews out some kind of watery “coffee” - no coffee beans used in this process.

We knew after the first sip we wanted a refund, which is unlike us. We would usually just throw it out and not go back, however at $11 for two coffees it was hard to walk away from so we very politely asked a lady at the counter for a refund. We were then screamed at by this old grump of an owner who also happens to be that old fashioned “barista” that made our cups of flavoured boiling water.

He started screaming at us about how the coffees were sitting too long, saying we were slow to pick them up and that is why they are bad, this was not the case. They called us once and we headed straight over, I could have left them until 2020 and they still would have been warm.

If you don’t want an overpriced instant coffee then please head down the stairs, across the bridge and into Aldo’s cafe like we did. They use coffee beans and milk...

Horrible. The waitress/barista knocked my piccolo coffee, spilling it over the bench. She then wiped the side of the cup with a dirty cloth, as though that would fix the fact she had slopped all the crema off the top. When I politely asked her to re-make the coffee, she did so in a resentful, hostile way, making me wait a long time while she faux-busied herself on the other side of the cafe, with no explanation or apology for the protracted wait. When I asked her why she was being so rude the other waitress - who had not witnessed any of the previous exchange - abused me, saying that I didn't understand what the barista was 'going through'. Surely it's a basic courtesy not take out your personal issues onto customers. Disgusting service...
