Ken & Angie Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Pinjarra

WARNING!!! Ken and Angies Thai and Chinese my experience wasn't so good after all. We booked a table for 2 adults and a 15 month old child. We arrived to an extremely cold restaurant, anyway the lady at the front desk showed us to our table and when we got to the table she told me sir the high chair are just over their. Knowing a baby is coming you would think the table would be ready then you have to get the high chair yourself that's not very good service. I firstly ordered a wonton soup it tasted yuck never had anything like it before not traditional and I don't know the funny bits that were inside the wonton. We then order prawn crackers normally the first plate is complimentary at any Chinese restaurant not here they are $5 a plate. When the lady brought my soup I said I am ready to order my mains now thankyou and the lady told me she would be right back I had to wait for the other lady at the front desk to take my order when she was busy dealing with takeaway orders long wait. Finally we get our mains they don't put prawns in special fried rice what sort of a rice is that we are paying for the fire not our fault they charge $3 to put prawns in also very small meals what is shown in pictures are wrong and the honey chicken tasted soggy noodles and honey chicken didn't have sauce on top it was like a soup underneath and tastes more like honey lemon chicken it was more watery than nice and sticky like the traditional one. The three of us ended up with stomach cramps and didn't feel to good the next 2 days and it was all three of us if it was just one or 2 I would be ok but all of us that's no good we went Sunday 29/6/2014 thanks for listening and I hope this could help in your wise decision of choice to eat. Picked up Sweet and Sour Pork, Chilli Beef and Special Fried Rice tonight cost $51.00 We we exremly dissapointed with our takeaway.. Chilli beef extemly mild in taste and very watery The pork or lack of pork. Big pieces of batter, pork inside batter wasn't even as big as a 5c piece and half the piece was fat. The small container of sweet and sour sauce did not even cover half the container of pork and only had carrots in it. No onion or pineapple. Very basic sauce The special fried rice was very basic. No chicken, egg or prawns... Ridiculously expensive at $14.95.

Just had dinner with my husband,he used to live in Pinjarra for 10 years. We drived past this restaurant tonight he told me here is best Chinese restaurant I never ever try.
