Tassie Tavern — Restaurant in Port Augusta

This is a fantastic place for breakfast I had eggs benedict with bacon for $15 and then a great big mug of coffee for $6. To be honest I didn't as a traveller know the place was here as all of the glass is tinted and so I couldn't see in and it just looks like a bank or something. I'm not too sure how they could change that. Once you get inside it's extremely large and very very nice. The staff were really helpful it doesn't matter how good the food or places if the staff aren't friendly and at least throw a smile or say hello I generally leave a place as it's really important to me to have a good experience as I am travelling full-time. We popped in for a quick breakfast snack and we were pleased with what we got, my partner had coffee, cake & toastie whilst i had a cola, cake & toastie. The prices were very reasonable and the toasties/drinks/cakes turned up promptly. The lady serving us was really freindly and it had the fire going first thing which was welcoming, we are in PA for a while and will be returning. My only takeaway is that the cheese in the toastie could be of better quality but thats about all i could fault, the cakes were excellent and the coffee...
