Scully's Oyster Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Queenscliff

I went there for lunch with my husband and 2 boys. We sat right opposite to the bar counter, we ordered and paid for our orders using their QR CODE and also went up to the counter to confirm our orders with a female staff and came back to our table to wait for our foods to come out. We waited for nearly 2HR and our foods still didn’t come out. other people have came, ate their lunch and left. During these times non of their staffs have noticed nor approach us to see what was happening. I went up to the counter to ask why we didn’t get our food and they had no idea so one of their staff went to check the order machine and the paper was out and they ve never got our orders and that when they started preparing our foods. We were so starving and not impressed with their service at all. I ordered a mushroom risotto, the rice was a little under cooked, it very salty and not creamy. My boys ordered a fish n chips and a beef burgers and it was bland and dry. We were very disappointed and did not enjoy ours foods at all.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I came for brunch today & on arrival asked the waiter if they serve gluten free bread to which he said yes. Shortly afterwards another waiter came to take our order & when I asked for gluten free bread, she said they don't serve it. I told her that they do & she said she'd ask the chef. Then the chef comes out to me & asks me in the most sarcastic & condescending tone, "Did you come into the kitchen to ask me if we have gluten free bread"? I replied no, to which he said "well then we don't have it do we". By this stage it was 11.40am & the chef would not let the waiter take our order. Breakfast orders finish at 11.30am & lunch orders start at 12pm. I commented that's strange, we are a table of 7 here to give you business. He just said every single restaurant refuses service between 11.30am-12pm for the kitchen to reset. With that, we got up & left. The coffees we'd ordered 30 minutes earlier still hadn't arrived anyway. I will never...

Came here after being on the ferrie on a hot day and thought how nice to have some seafood over looking the water… the place has so much potential and they could smash it however when we came, we had to get our own menus.., they were clearly understaffed for a public holiday. My mum asked for her fish grilled and they were hesitant and now we know why, very stingy little pieces of fish. We saw our food sitting on the pass for a good 5 minutes before anyone bought it to our table, being in hospitality myself I was almost about to go get our food from the chef. The oysters were strange. Most of us had finished our meals before my entree or my daughters meal arrived. We ended up asking to fix up the bill with the meals that didn’t come taken off.. just as I paid the other meals came out however the bartender said we could have them regardless of paying which was nice.
