First off, I ordered and the cashier told me I couldn’t have rice with my Jaffa chicken because it wasn’t ready yet. Then proceeded to serve the rice to the tour group behind me and had their food ready before mine. Secondly, my food was deprioritized to the tour group when I was also there for a tour group stop. Third, when I finally got my order, I went to eat the chicken and it was so fatty it was inedible and it was RAW!!! Fourth, I went back to show her the chicken and she took my bowl that was mostly full, asked if I wanted anything else. I then said I wanted a “side” of roasted vegetables and some hummus to go with the pita I paid extra for. Not even a redo of the full meal. The cashier was about to have the audacity to charge me for the hummus when my $21.50 bowl was taken because of the raw chicken. Then, I said give me my bowl back then and I’ll scoop out the hummus…so whack! She then realized how crazy she sounded and gave me the smallest side of hummus I’ve ever seen, less than the amount I received in the bowl to begin with. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I was so excited to try BalaBite, we waited to be served for 30 minutes (long but fair enough being a new spot). While waiting we spoke to other customers who said they’d been before so we had high hopes....this all came crashing down when I was awaiting my meal to be cooked. The lady behind the grill yelled out 88 (my number was 89 & I saw the girl before me already had hers). I asked the lady if that was mine. Grill lady yelled “well is your number 88?”...I explained that I thought there was a mix up and asked if that (what she had in her hands) was what I ordered...she made a scene, yelled, slammed the food down then the young girl talking orders came over to help figure it out she practically shoved the food at her and told her to sort it out.

It was a mix up, the young girl had put the wrong number on it and she apologised.

In the end, once I got mine (45 minutes later), my partners food was cold and to be honest it was nothing fantastic.
