Devine dining experience in the centre of Cooktown! I was surprised by the quality of the dishes on the menu & dined there twice to try out everything on the menu including breakfast as well! The Chef really took the time to create some magnificent dishes offering some local produce to my surprise and delight! The sharing platter with kangaroo was exotic & perfect for the travellers wanting to try out roo meat! By far my favourite was the surprising bursts of flavour exuding from the finger limes on the scallop dish! I will never forget them & had to ask the Chef all about them! The restaurant was set up as a luxury dining experience with the calm tropical romantic ambiance! The cocktails were extremely good! The pricing was more than reasonable for the classy meals I tried! I highly recommend...

Eat here If you want to pay a lot of money and go home hungry. The meals are very overpriced and way too small!

We arrived at an almost empty restaurant only to get told its fully booked and we had to wait 45min for a table for 4. After 45 minutes we came back. The tables were still empty and we were seated at a table for 8 that was one of the empty tables when we got there 45 minutes before.

The food was served quickly, the taste was OK and the staff was friendly. I still would not go back. It's not worth it. We ended up getting some pizzas at the bar underneath so we didn't have to go...

We visited for a couple of cocktails as they have cocktail happy hour from 4pm to 6pm for $15 a cocktail. The cocktails were well made. But unforunately the service was very poor. We waited for our second cocktail for 20 minutes. When questioned, the lady said that the person that was supposed to make it ignored her. We think that it was probably due to her knocking off duty and just not making them at all. There was no apology nor empathy. We suggest that staff be given a refresher course in...
