Amazing!!! Incredible!!! The coffee is perfectly brewed and I like mine black no sugar so it has to be good otherwise that burnt bitterness you get at some other venues is instantly noticeable. The brekky stack was devine. Perfect poached eggs, bacon done just right, mushrooms, spinach and topped with hollandaise sauce all perched upon a delicious vege patty! The service matched the food and drink, the beautiful lady who served me was accommodating with her genuine personality. Such a rarity in hospitality these days. What a great place to go. We had burgers and toasted sandwiches and, seriously, the food was delish. No chips with the burgers which was a bit strange so we ordered a side of those - they were cooked fresh, crispy, and served piping hot.

The only thing I didn't like was the noise. The stereo system was loud and static-y and, combined with the sound of the coffee machine it made for a pretty noisy environment.

Service was fantastic though, with genuine and friendly staff who were happy to stop for a quick chat and a laugh. Overall, fantastic food, great variety of meals to choose from, excellent service, reasonable prices....

I tried the savory mince Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious! The eggs were perfectly soft and runny, while the mince had a slight sweetness but leaned more towards savory, creating a lovely balance. It was well-cooked and served on a toasted bun. The atmosphere of the place was lovely, and the staff were friendly, providing great service. I've enjoyed breakfast here three days in a row, ordering the savory mince Benedict twice! I also had the big breakfast, which was divine as well! Thank you so much; I will definitely remember Mackay, as I had never heard of or tasted savory mince Benedict until my work trip...
