A friend and I decided to eat there before attending a show at the MECC. We arrived with plenty of time to order and eat our meal. We were instructed by the lady behind the bar that we needed to order via the QR code on the table. We did this straightaway. After waiting around 20 minutes with not even our ordered drinks arriving, we checked at the bar. The lady said our order hadn’t been received (although we had ordered and paid for it via the app 20 minutes earlier). She checked with the chef. He looked at the iPad and the order suddenly appeared. The bar person got our drinks. This gave us 20 minutes for our food to be cooked and eaten in order for us to make our show at 7.30. The chef said it was the second time it had happened tonight. I explained we were on limited time. He had our meals to us in under 10 minutes. The food was excellent and the service from the chef was brilliant.we scoffed down our food and only just made it into the MECC one minute before they closed the doors for the show to begin. I will never again order meals via the QR code apps. I couldn’t understand why the lady wouldn’t take our order over the bar. It was not a busy night and there were only other two tables of guests aside from my friend and I. Disappointing that we were rushed to shovel our food down. The food was good, the chef was fantastic but I suggest you rethink your ordering system and allow patrons to actually speak to your staff when ordering...

Magic spot with excellent views of the beach and ocean. Very pleasant decor and amenities and good overall "feel" in the place. The service is friendly and the place has a good feel. They often have live music on weekends which adds to the super chilled out atmosphere of the place. Fantastic to kick back with a coldie on the verandah (or inside if you prefer aircon) while the kids can run outside, play in the adjacent park, or for the older ones, run off some steam on the beach. The outside walkway is perfect for kids bikes or scooters, so this is a perfect end point after a family walk. The food is incredibly well priced - I was surprised at how cheap it was. That said, the portions are not big (which I actually prefer, so this was no drama for us). The kids fare covers the usual staples - always well received e.g. nuggets and chips. I would have added an extra star to my review if my greek salad with calamari special was an actual greek salad. The salad came without feta or olives which in my mind is not a greek salad. I was too relaxed and happy to complain! Just enjoyed my green salad, beer and view. Support this establishment - they are doing...

👌What a beautiful place to visit, and would be even more amazing if they had gluten free options that are "safe for coeliacs" also. Fingers crossed for future as would love to be able to dine here safely. 😬

Great place to visit for ocean views. 🌟Staff are really friendly and it's such a lovely place, with all the facilities you could ask for, but if you're coeliac looking to dine or need Gluten Free for yourself at an event you may be attending, I have found no coeliac safe options here yet unfortunately as need for "coeliac safe" wasn't understood on the occassion. (CC) 🚧Otherwise .... The food "looks" amazing. The event spaces are fantastic. 💯 🚦Need for Coeliac safe gluten free food, would be my only suggestion on where it could possibly be improved...
