Second time here. Food and service was good. Great value for a midweek meal.

So many red flags from the waiter we should have turned around. Firstly from him just vaguely gesturing to our table (we had made a booking) when asking where we were to sit, to never dropping off our menus or explaining the smorgasbord option, to not once ever coming up to our table to check in with us or get our order, we should have walked away. Instead we took a chance and put in a order at the counter (with said waiter) because as stated he never came to our table once. After 30 minutes we asked how much longer we'd have to wait. The waiter just replied "nah" when asked if he knew how much longer. So we then asked "can you please ask the kitchen if you don't know" which also got a "nah" response. We went back to our table a bit dumbfounded from that bizarre interaction and waited another 30 minutes before asking again. During our time waiting we also saw a takeaway customer wait the same time and pretty sure we saw her leave empty handed after waiting 45 minutes for her non existent order. The second time we asked (this was now 1 hour of waiting) we managed to speak to a different staff member (kitchen staff) who was shocked to find our order was sitting on the counter the entire time because the waiter never actually gave it to the kitchen. At this point we laughed at how we had wasted 1 hour for food we were never going to receive and left empty handed. Just a mess from start to finish. Go somewhere else and don't even bother. Worst experience of my life and that male waiter is the worst hospitality staff member I've ever encountered, lazy and rude are 2 words I'd describe him as(maybe he wants them to fire him?). Take your money to local businesses that actually deserve it. Don't even bother as the only way you will get fed is if you participate in the smorgasbord as you serve yourself, otherwise the staff can't even complete a simple takeaway or dine in...

WORST Chinese food that we ever had in Australia. Fried rice looked so stale (must have been reused a few times) and black due to too much soy sauce. The ingredients in it like the char siu, chicken and prawn were not fresh (super dry) at all with non existent veggies and dried egg morsels in it. It was disgusting. Also, ordered salt and pepper pork ribs. Came out as battered meat of something with chilli powder on the batter. Dimsums and spring rolls were so tiny that there's no filling that you see. Seafood combination was horrible too. Very OVERPRICED for the quality of food they dished out.

When staff were told about the quality of food that they served, the only response was "that's what was on the menu". We didn't eat the food that we were served and still paid almost $110. Waste of money, waste of time. We're all for supporting local businesses but if they can't provide the service and product they advertised then we have to tell them but only to have that kind of response is more appalling than the food they dished out. Would be giving a NEGATIVE REVIEW IF ONLY...

Had the Friday Buffet with friends. We often have takeaway from this restaurant, and tonight the buffet was really good! Great choices, fresh veggies and a great deal to choose from. John (Owner) always delivers great food at a very reasonable price. Table service could be improved in that the waiter could come around to see if anyone needed drinks etc, and the restaurant is your typical clean, small country town Chinese Restaurant. $28/head is...
