Review for Subway Childers, QLD – 29th December, 4:30 PM

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Subway Childers today. We were served by a young man with black hair whose attitude was appalling from the moment we walked in. He was throwing his body around, slamming items, and made zero effort to smile or engage in basic conversation.

As someone who’s worked in retail, I understand tough days happen, but there’s no excuse for taking it out on customers. By the end of our order, we were so put off by his behaviour that we didn’t even want to pay.

After checking other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. If this continues, he’s going to do significant damage to this store’s reputation. Subway, you need to address this urgently—whether it’s a staffing issue or a lack of proper training, this behaviour simply isn’t acceptable.

This is one of the best Subways I have ever been to. The service is very quick, I was in a queue of about 6 people and it felt like I had just walked in and got served immediately, it was that fast. The staff are very friendly and patient (especially to Subway amateurs like me) and are happy to explain the choices you are offered in an easily comprehendible way. The prices are very acceptable and in my opinion are quite cheap considering the service you receive and the level of customisability available. Today (10/09/25) i was served by two lovely young ladies, a girl with blonde hair and the other with brunette. These young girls were absolutely wonderful, they made my order exactly how i asked and bought their positive energy with them, they engaged in small talk with me and genuinely made my mood for the rest of the day. i wish there were more girls like them.
