Club Mossman — Restaurant in Queensland

The chef here is a true gem. I had a tip off that there was good cooking happening here, so I let go of my usual trepidation around ordering a chef made items (at a pub) & ordered the chicken breast, with mustard sauce.

Often these dishes are crucified in a large pub/ bar/ sports club

The chef here nailed it. Better than most five star restaurants.

My comment here would be that trust the items on the menu, that take a bit more flair to cook! Ie: not just the schnitzels, burgers etc

This place is fabulous, we had lunch there and it was awesome and value for money. They are just on the finishing end of renovations which once finished will enhance an already friendly atmosphere. We have been traveling Australia full time for over 3 years and I must say I was very impressed with this place, the manager was nice enough to show us around and stop briefly for a chat until it got too busy and he saw customers waiting, he politely excused himself to pitch in and help the staff....awesome🥰 My picture is of my empty plate, it was a yummy Chicken Schnitzel...

I am a traveller and was looking for a game of bowls, right from the very first time we contacted the Mossman bowling club we were welcomed with open arms nothing was a problem when we walked into the club everybody straightaway offered me help, we had a beautiful lunch there and then all afternoon whilst bowling the bowlers were very friendly and took a great interest in what we were doing anyone travelling this place is a must stop, thank you to the bowler’s and the staff for making us feel very...
