tl; dr: Amazing coffee, but why are the staff and patrons maskless? 5 stars for coffee but 1 for mask compliance

This was one of my absolute favourite coffee spots in Australia, w/ creative, tasty, ethical, fair trade beans and fabulous coffee. I come here every time I'm up in Noosa, both to buy beans and have great coffee. They also offer growlers to take away their cold brew coffee, which uses seasonal beans. If you're interested, give their coffee flight a go, which showcases thoughtfully prepared and different types and styles of beans available at the time; I always manage to discover something new.

The food is a bit more so-so, with the menu leaning towards the healthy side, and this time because it only came out after quite a long wait of 20 minutes, and then only after an enquiry (though I understand that there may be staffing issues, my companion's average croque monsieur came out quite quickly), but mostly because the brown rice nasi goreng that I got was rather meh.

My biggest problem with the venue though, is the absolute non-compliance with COVID safe mask wearing requirements. Every hospo venue is currently complaining about staff absentees due to illness or because of being close contacts and also drop in patronages because of COVID, so why not step up the prevention of the spread of virus among both staff and customers with wearing of masks? No one expects hospitality and retail staff to police check ins and vaccination status; that's unfair, but what a venue /can/ control is the behaviour of their own staff, and /none/ of them were wearing masks, or wearing it properly. As a healthcare worker, this irresponsibility makes me incredibly angry. If I can work 8+ hours in full PPE while dealing with patients, surely something like proper mask wearing isn't that...

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but i experienced horrible customer service today and was spoken to very poorly, making me feel unwelcome. I have been coming here for 2 years now but unfortunately won’t be coming back.

Adding more context on to the review in response to what has been said. The four-seat booth was the only seat available when I arrived. I had an ipad with me, which wasn’t being used. I had ordered a cappuccino and once I had finished that I had started ordering lunch, which was when i was approached by 2 people who wanted the table. Before i got the chance to offer them to sit at the end of the booth, I had the worker come up to me and speak to me extremely poorly, even when explaining that i was in the middle of ordering lunch, making me feel very unwelcome and i’d like to note that she definitely DID NOT point out any smaller tables so i’m unsure where that has come from? I also did not decline to move, when the worker was speaking to me, due to feeling so unwelcome I said “okay, i’ll leave” in which she responded “yep” and the two people who wanted to the table took over the table.

As someone who works in customer service I would absolutely never speak to a customer the way i was spoken to today. If I was spoken to in a nicer way I never would have left a review as i am very understanding that it was a busy period. This response with false allegations is also very...

Well, its been awhile between drinks, I avoided this place for the longest time as the coffee was too 'green' for my liking! Imaging my surprise then when I went today, to find a cafe which had grown up, found its footing, and was humming along nicely with that calm sense of self assurance, that only comes from experienced operators, who have finely honed their craft.

The coffee was great as was the food and the atmosphere! My large flat white hit the spot with notes of caramel and toffee, with hints of almond biscotti, and my scrambled eggs were perfectly executed to just the right consistency, still moist on top with a shimmering surface, and they melted in my mouth.

Likewise my side of pan tossed mushrooms were delicious with distinctive flavour that only comes from the finest produce.

Portion sizes were excellent, hitting the balance in-between not enough, and too much, so I walked away feeling totally satiated without having consumed too much.

Atmosphere was great and the place was pumping, Service was attentive and spot on - so great to see a cafe doing so well, bringing just the right mix to its clearly happy and...

I visited here because the rainy day made me feel craving coffee😌 It was a really nice place both inside and outside. When I arrived, it was literally full(around noon), so I had to wait for an empty seat. The flat white was gorgeous, and the lemon blueberry cake was delicious, especially when paired with coffee🍰🫐 However, the one thing that disappointed me a little was that the glasses girl who took my order wasn't kind to the customer. But the other staff members were all lovely🧡 What I liked the most is that they operate until 4 p.m., so I could enjoy my late afternoon here☕️ Thank you so much. I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance😉

The coffee’s were served so fast and were great. We also had a cinnamon roll that was yummie. They had 4 different grinders going and even a decaf grinder (which you don’t see so often, great job) The staff was nice and very proactive, nobody was standing around doing nothing. I loved the atmosphere in this shop and would love to come here more often!! They also had lots of things you could buy like beans, coffee machines and merchandise. Would 10/10 recommend.
