I treated myself to $60 worth of chocolate, and was bitterly disappointed. First the rock road chocolate block, tasted incredibly, sickingly sweet. No taste of actual chocolate, just sugar and sweetness, also 90% of it was Marshmallow which was a bit cheeky considering how expensive it was. Second up, I bought a very small box of salted caramel milk and dark chocolates. 3 weeks later, they are still sat in my fridge, that's how unpleasant they are! I have been buying coffee from Coffee Works for quite a few years and it’s wonderful, amazing quality. I live in Brisbane and (try to) buy the beans when I’m in Cairns as it’s quite expensive for delivery. The last 3 times I’ve travelled to Cairns I’ve been unable to buy the beans in person, yet can leave the store and buy them immediately online. If you are going to have a specialty coffee store at least stock the store with coffee. Shelley is very cheerful and takes the time to chat to patrons. The smells are amazing - coffee and chocolate! We have been loyal customers since our arrival in Cairns early 2016, and have never been disappointed.
