I ordered from a cheap lunch time menu which gave me a choice from many different ranges. I chose the cheapest items to see what their quality of "inexpensive" is. I was impressed by not only the quality of the food, but also the quantity. I was unable to finish the half rack of ribs therefore having to take it in a doggy bag on the second day I chose not to go home in shame and decided to eat all of my chicken parmigiana. The chicken was cooked to a succulent perfection, however the ribs had a few over cooked areas. I have nothing to complain about the food other than the ribs having far too much sauce, making the ribs very potent, and not being able to taste the delicious ribs themselves. The service on the first and second day was very fast. I believe we waited less than ten minutes to be served with three dishes. However, on the second day staff was not so happy with us and did not serve our food to us friendly, but rather aggressive. Overall, the chefs and everyone involved in the kitchen are a fantatic, hardworking, and energetic crew. I will be...
Read moreTerrible experience today at diceys. Second time we’ve been here and was very uncomfortable being there. First time we went we didn’t have to reserve a table, so assumed it would be the same today. We were met with a very rude server. Male, wasn’t wearing a name badge. Tall, skinny, medium length brown hair. Asked if we reserved a table and we said no we didn’t know we had to. He glared at us and said well next time you will know and stormed up stairs to get a table. He said they were all reserved and busy for today. But the whole time we were there, Only 3 tables were being used? Ordered drinks and asked for a jug of coke and he scoffed and said we only have Pepsi on jugs cokes are in cans. Every time we walked down the steps, he watched and gave us the extremely horrible looks. When ordering food he glared at us and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and not safe. Will not being returning Customer service was disgusting never encountered such a rude person. Avoid...
Read moreFlew up to Gladstone for work and was a lovely spot to grab a late lunch on the way back home.
Lovely venue with nice booths upstairs, away from the main bar noise.
Staff were very catering and cleared a table for me although they were quite busy.
The menu surprised me with a good amount on Gluten Free options - I had the GF carbonara which was pretty nice and a very decent serving size. I was more than full after it and at a great price.
Not that I have any, but decent looking kids play area upstairs as well.
Booths were well kept and clean, would have been nice to have a box of serviettes on each table / booth, but easy enough to get some more from the bar.
+1 for ginger beer in...
