We had been hiking not far from Boonah in the afternoon, we were late, it was dinner time we figured why not stop in at Boonah instead of stopping at Ipswich. My advise would be to keep driving. The service is terrible, no one smiles and the bar staff member is a bit clueless, she got my order of chicken wings and a side of chips wrong, she missed the chips entirely. At the food pick up point we enquired about the chips and were told "it's not on the ticket" I insist my order was wings and chips. He goes to talk to someone in the kitchen and comes back without an apology and advises if we want fries we need to order and pay. Paying is fine but, there is not much point when the rest of the order is already ready. I don't mind if mistakes are made, it happens but, I don't like poor service. It's not hard to smile and it's not hard to apologise if something hasn't gone right. I'm paying for this food which was average anyway and didn't have nearly...

Outdated & primitive. Like stepping back into history. Before adequate access apart from dry rot wrickerdy stairs. Chandelier of Booze cans, looks marginally better than the flies buzzing through the whole place. Lucky that this redneck accessory has a few good will spiders in occupancy. Obviously this has been a long term contract, by the amount of spiderwebs. This generational family tree, is making the signage on the cans. Make it impossible to determine how long ago, these pioneers decided to settle here. Don't think that must be good by the number of vehicles parked there.
