The bugs n bull was not really an acceptable level reef n beef at any number of pubs with a lesser advertised food experience and the Pot Pie was unfortunately a lot of pastrie with very little filling. The Pork Shoulder was also very dry. We entertained friends from Brisbane and reading the reviews were expecting to showcase a great night out in the Scenic Rim, but unfortunately the meals did not add to the experience. In Boonah today and we stopped off the at the Commercial for lunch. I ordered the burger and was chatting to the waitress about our tradition and as usual forgot to ask if they could cut it in half and bring a second plate. When the meal showed up not only had they cut it in half but it was beautifully served up on two plates with the chips split in two baskets, one on each plate. Now that is what I call service.
