Family Crust Bakery — Restaurant in Queensland

Being chilly we felt like a meat pie this morning. My husband went to Family Crust Bakery. The pie was old, very old. Pastry like gravel - meat on outer edge dark and hard. It was awful - threw both in bin. My husband was told these pies were fresh but tasted more like they had been re-used a number of times. I absolutely love this bakery. Their service is best in Gladstone, old school, polite and professional. They have an excellent rang of bread, pies, cakes, slices ect. It only has a small customer area which is mostly packed, but customers seem polite and happy to wait their turn. The good vibe from the staff must rub off on the customers. Edit" lost me as a customer as the lady doesn't like to use tongs to get your pies out of the pie warmer or to take the top off to put peas in your pie ,, she will lick her fingers to grab your bag before doing all this, are you for real !!
