Gelatissimo Rockhampton — Restaurant in Queensland

This is really a minus -1 for the Uber delivery driver you used tonight. I've complained via Uber, but I am SO upset I think you need to know directly too. I did not take a screenshot, but his name is QIYU. He did not knock on the door or ring the bell, he did not even come onto the property, he left the gelato, which was a Father's Day gift, on the street by the mailbox. Where any person, animal, ants, anything could have stolen/destryed it - he would have known he was delivering GELATO, which melts, and made ZERO effort to ensure my Father knew it was there. He should be ashamed of himself - PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE THIS DELIVERY DRIVER AGAIN. My Dad didn't find the delivery for over an hour, and now has a melted treat he can't eat! I'm in Sydney...I am SO angry at you!!! I expected SO much more from a brand-name store like Gelatissimo, which I go to often here...

On the 08/07/25 at 6:30 pm i entered the gelatissimo store with my little sister excited to get a treat at the end of very hard day, this turned out to be a mistake. The lady barely acknowledged our existence and was too busy waving to her friends outside the building. Her body language showed that she clearly was not happy to see us and in a monotone voice asked how she could help us while staring into our soul. After some deliberation while looking at the overpriced menu we decided to get a Frappe each, this turned out to be our second biggest mistake this evening. Our frappe was atrocious at best. I would describe my frappe as a cup of watery off milk. My little sister would describe her frappe as an overpriced milk shake that had zero resemblance to a frappe. Overall disappointed. Rude customer service....

Well im normally one to give this place a good review but new year's eve changed that. We took the kids out for some fun and promised them some ice cream after, we checked the gelatossimo website for the closing times and it said New Year's Eve 10:30pm. We thought great we will have plenty of time, we rolled in at 9:40pm after going bowling, laser tag, and mini golf only to be told that we would not be served, that the customers who walked in just before us were the last ones. And I mean literally just walked in before us,

Seems like the staff wanted out early to go party for new year's eve, extremely disappointed with the customer...
