Burger Urge Rockhampton North (Stockland) — Restaurant in Queensland

I am a Fi-Fo worker like many staying in the motels here in Rocky. Tonight I ordered some Ubereats from Burger Urge after a long hot day in which lunch was skipped in exchange for a shorter day. The menu looked bloody mouthwatering and my mate and I couldn't wait to chow down while the Ubereats driver was waiting on our order. Once the order arrived I was met with great disappointment in the realisation that they had forgotten my loaded fries. One burger is not enough to sustain a man after a long day with no lunch. But I sucked it up right up until I bit into my burger. Chilling cold spiked down my spine as I felt a brain freeze coming on due to the utter lack of any heat coming from the internal ingredients of this burger. Imagine my disappointment in all this, especially considering the burger place is a 5 minute drive from my motel. Upon lifting the bun I also discovered that the added-on bacon (that cost me way too much for bacon) was naught but a tablespoon worth of shredded bacon parts. In all I must implore that anyone wishing to dine at this place or order from it, think about your pleeding empty stomach, and choose different. As I was still quite empty calorie wise I ordered another meal from Take Eat Easy which arrived hot and ample and didn't cost nearly as much.

A small group of us wanted a good burger without the frozen angel bay burger patties seen so often now so thought we’d try burger urge via uber.

Order placed, 1 bag arrives Missing all the burgers (4) + onion rings + some fries and one drink.

No assistance at all provided by Uber (no surprise there). I called the store and was lucky to speak with Trent, the manager. To be honest having previously owned a food business I know that the store is supposed to point us to Uber and really don’t have an obligation to refund or remake the meal as it wasn’t their error. I more just wanted to check if the bag hadn’t been left behind. Trent couldn’t have been more helpful to our situation, showing empathy (offering to have our order remade if we could collect) and was so pleasant, professional and apologetic. I hadn’t felt like going out originally hence using Uber but the level of service to fix an issue they didn’t really have to was impressive. So we happily drove down to collect where again Trent showed a level of service and professionalism I personally rarely see anymore.

FYI - the meal was great, burgers bang on point!

Horrible service. I had ordered a burger and a drink, while my friend had ordered a drink on its own. My burger arrived in a reasonable time and I finished it, however my friend and I had not received the drinks we had both ordered. We waited for a few minutes, before I politely asked a waitress if they were coming, and was told that they were on their way. 15 minutes passed and still no drinks. I went up to the counter and politely asked another staff member where our drinks were. I was asked which table I was sitting at and what drinks I had ordered. Another 15 minutes passed and still no drinks. Another staff member then came to our table, apologised for the delay and then said she would make them herself. We waited another 10 minutes before finally getting our drinks, over an hour after ordering.

It took 3 different employees and over an hour to deliver 2 milkshakes. Other customers ordered, ate and left in the time we were waiting for our drinks.
