The Coffee Club - Rockhampton Stockland — Restaurant in Queensland

I'm not usually the type of person to write reviews but after my experience today I feel like I need to.

Today my partner and I dined in, we paid for our separate meals (therefore they were on separate dockets). I ordered a mango frappe and a almond croissant, my partner ordered a slice of carrot cake and a caramel frappe. The dining area wasn't that busy so we thought we'd go in and get a quick lunch. Damn was I wrong.

We sat at a table(we picked the number at random) and it wasn't wiped down. Around 10 minutes pass and my Mango Frappe comes(fair time), then we wait almost half an hour with no response. After that time the waitress came over with my partner frappe and slice of carrot cake, the waitresses told us they originally lost his docket and then walked away so I assumed she was getting my meal.

Another like 20 minutes go by and my partner goes up and asks about my croissant, apparently they lost my docket too. They come to the table with my croissant boxed up and no utensils so I assumed they just wanted us to get out. No where in the entirety of the time did any waiters ask if everything was ok and the waitress from the previous interactions kept glancing at our table the entire time so I feel like she would've known something was up.

Bad service, wish I could give no stars 🤷🏻Im just disappointed,...

Disappointed!

"Famous Eggs benedict" fell off the toast upside down (nearly on to the table) when served and were overcooked. The waiter didn't even acknowledge the fact and just walked away.

My husbands eggs were perfectly cooked with much better presentation, super yummy also, so we just shared so we could both enjoy.

The same waiter never once checked on us after serving our beverages and food, but did manage to bump me with her bum while I was eating as she walked behind me. She didn't acknowledge that either, and just kept walking. Mind you, it was not a light bump or a small bum either. She definitely would have felt what she had done.

Staff knowledge about coffee was also poor - I ordered an iced coffee and was asked what syrup I would like, I replied with "just that standard please," but was met with frustration as there was no "standard" and was asked again, what flavour did I want. I found...

I ordered an iced matcha latte for takeaway here for the first time. I was very excited after asking the staff if it’s possible to get it even unsweetened (usually a sign for not using pre made matcha syrup) and she confirmed that this would be no problem. But unfortunately after receiving my order I immediately noticed that it did like matcha syrup in the cup and it also didn’t taste like high quality matcha at all. The milk was great so it could have been really nice if it was just real matcha or the staff would let customers know about it beforehand. While I was waiting and looking at their menu I got very excited as it seemed like they have great stuff on their menu but now after this happening I feel most of their other things will probably be not high...
