We were really looking forward to eat here due to good reviews from friends. However, we left disappointed and will not come back. Kare-kare was yellow, watered-down and tasted like flour. No hint of peanut butter in the sauce. The grilled salmon was burnt. Hubby told Kuya about this but did not respond to it. Like he just left us mid conversation. What happened to the great welcome we had with all the small talk before he served our food? Fried bangus served in a sizzling plate with fresh greens- cooked to nothingness because it was served in a sizzling plate. Breads- cheese bread and cheese roll, where’s the cheese? It is a lovely Filipino cafe with yummy cakes, swiss rolls, buns, donuts, shaved iced drinks called Halo Halo, nice hot lunches freshly cooked, sizzling dishes. All home-made..
