There are so many beautiful and authentic Japanese restaurants in Cairns.

But Kobe Dining inside of Earlville shopping center is by far the best for price and taste.

While other places are authentic in that you could go to a restaurant in Japan with the same quality- Kobe dining is authentic in its homestyle feel.

The meal here at Kobe dining tastes like you could be sitting at the table with a Japanese host family- and they cooked up a large meal so you could do well on your exam the next day.

Saw this restaurant has overall 5 star google review. So decided to give a try today. Karaage chicken was nice. But the chicken and egg udon was very plain and food court quality in flavour. It was like the soup base made from supermarket bought Tzuyu mixed with way too much sugar, couldn't taste much chicken or egg taste. Just taste like udon noodle in sweet soy water.

Locates at alley in shopping centre, always serving very high quality of food. We have been here multiple times for varies items like tuna don, oyakodon, curries… very tasty vinegar rice, fresh ingredients, nicely presented, and this cost, amazing, always going back.
