I want to quote what one of the customers said here just recently from Amber Ayton, I want to know who is running this store. Tonight i watched 2 people in front of me have a go at your staff for missing items then you go and leave items out of my order too. Bad enough that your staff are not trained in service skills let alone the only job they have to do. Its a case of listen to your customer as to why they are not happy then learn how not to repeat the mistake a 3rd time. Honestly just wish i could go higher with this complaint past management! What she has said here is exactly what this KFC store is!!!! I have been to KFC stores all over the world and this is the worst of the worst! This particular store i have been to about 50 to 100 times, and at least every second occassion the order is wrong, always missing items! I dont know if the IQ levels are less than 50 includng the manager or someone there is ripping us off! I know this will fall on death ears, BUT no point in closing this KFC down as management knows that this is on the hwy and wont go broke, thats why the management here dont care about customer service! Thanks for the BAD customer service KFC! LOL, there is a computer bot here called Rebecca doing the automated responses! LOL , what a...
Read moreVisited KFC Plainland yesterday. Made an order. On leaving the serving staff member (the Manager Nathan it turns out) made an error in the drink order. Looking at the receipt that was because the cashier made a mistake. Head down the highway and we find that they left the small coleslaw out. This is not the first time this has happened at this store. Judging by other reviews here it seems leaving out paid for items might be part of their business model. So I begrudgingly return travelling a further 17 kilometres along the highway to do so. (Plainland to Hattonvale and back) I suggested that they should give me a large coleslaw for the inconvenience their error caused me. They refused and I was patronised by the manager. He suggested that I was only put out by five minutes. As it turns out the fuel I spent to return cost me more than the coleslaw. I am fine with it. I suggested to Nathan that I shall not return and he found that amusing. Maybe he should go back to managers school? It isn't asking much to expect correct items when they are paid for. $35 order to feed two people. The geography of this highway KFC is that it is inconvenient and return may exceed the value of the missed item. Something tells me this is a recurring theme here and it may...
Read moreI popped into KFC today, and I was blown away—not only by the food but especially by how Harry (crew member) made my visit so memorable.
From the moment I walked in, Harry greeted me with a warm smile and asked how my day was going. He took the time to walk me through the menu and even offered a couple of suggestions based on what I was in the mood for. When I ordered the new spicy chicken combo, he double‑checked to make sure I wanted extra seasoning—and boy, did it pay off! Everything arrived hot, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor.
What really stood out was Harry’s attentiveness. When my drink spilled a bit, he immediately brought napkins and offered a fresh refill without hesitation. He also checked back a couple of times to make sure I was enjoying my meal and asked if I needed anything else. His energy was upbeat, and he genuinely seemed to care—not just doing his job, but going above and beyond.
Shout‑out to management for empowering staff like Harry to deliver such great service! Big thanks to the team—special props to Harry—who made my visit exceptional. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this KFC to friends and family for both the food and the top-notch...
