Every time I decide to give this place another go I end up regretting it. The pies here are inedible - I've tried them twice and binned them both times.
I had a custard tart one time that was delicious, but 2 others since then were overcooked and so hard they hurt my teeth to bite into. Same thing with the caramel tarts. The vanilla slice I got once, the pastry was almost black.
Only thing that's consistently good is the bottled drinks lol.
Think I need to stop giving them chances and just stick to woolies next door. The service is always lovely, but the food just isn't good. Sucks because this is the only bakery in the area too. If they had any competition I doubt they'd have so...

My partner showed me the innards of his potato top pie and it was, no joke, mostly just this translucent gloop that's likely a cornstarch/water filler mix. A total waste of $6 or however much it cost, as it went into the bin after one bite. The pie also had the appearance of sitting there for a long time, as the outside had formed a rock solid crust (I'm talking about the "meat"). ☹️ Pretty disappointing considering there aren't that many bakeries around.
