The Coffee Club Café - Plainland Travel Centre — Restaurant in Queensland

21/03/2021 My wife and I thought we'd stop for a rest and have lunch at The Coffee Club Cafe in Plainland. We ordered our meals with coffee and sat down waiting for our order to arrive, As we sat we noted a small group of people who also ordered their meals who sat in the corner of the restaurant. We received our coffee and continued to wait for our meals to arrive only to see the the other group of people recive their meals as so we still waited. We heard of voice from the group saying that their wasn't the meal they ordered and the the waitresses picked up the meal then walked to our table and tried to serve my wife a meal which had been sitting at another table being picked at. My Chicken Ceaser salad I ordered had finaly arrived minus the anchovies that was listed on the menu and which also swayed my choice n this meal. As we were traveling through and being time poor I no longer wanted to invest anymore time in that establishment and asked for a refund before we went on our way. Giday all my partner and I were travelling east bound on the Warrego hwy and decided to stop into the service, travel centre at Plainlands. We decided on the coffeeee club but were let down by their kitchen cookers that were on the blink, so no cooked food was available. So, I got a cappuccino and went elsewhere for my big breakfast. I'll have another go and stop there on our next outing and give them a review later on, on their food. The ladies that work there are lovely they informed us before hand that it would take a while for the meal to be prepared. We ate elsewhere but if your feeling flat stop in there, fuel up, rest up, and eat up it's a big place with a large service station and few eateries which can be accessed from the service centre. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely Coffee Club Cafe in Plainland Travel Centre. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience and go above and beyond to give excellent service. The food is absolutely amazing! Hands up to the Chef's and Cooks! 🤘🤘 – everything that's was tasted would be a 12/10! Absolutely the best meal I had in Plainland! Highly recommend! The staff does an amazing job of describing anything on the menu and the ambiance is very professional and relaxed. Can’t wait to come back!
