I am absolutely gobsmacked, disgusted & angry about my experience today at Innisfail Macca's.
My friend clearly stated the following: Small cheeseburger meal with diet coke, medium cheeseburger meal with regular coke, caramel mcsundae, 6 chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. This was extremely polite & very clear.
After every single experience here Ive noticed items constantly missing or incorrect...sadly no difference this time but this time was met by the most rude lady serving I have ever met.
We were told the items at the pay counter (they had the small cheeseburger meal as a large but we just left it as we wanted to get going (hence using drove thru)
We moved to the collection point, given the items which we checked, got given the normal coke in medium and then instead of a diet large we were given normal (i can't have this much sugar) so we said we had asked for a diet, the woman huffed and slammed the windows shut. We realised no sauce had been given so when she opened the counter and gave us the diet coke, took normal coke back, she almost tried to slam the windows on us again but we managed to let her know we didn't have the sweet and sour sauce, she then strongly threw this at my friend & slammed the door shut SO hard, we were shocked!...

1 star for the horrible service. But 5 stars, because this is the same service you get at every Maccas, so I'm giessing the Manager followed the Maccas playbook for customer service...
We waited 15 minutes for our order, to he told they were waiting on chicken for wraps. No apology, just "Were waiting on chicken for the wraps".
I asked 3 times, "Is 15 minutes reasonable?". Again, no apology, he just kept repeating himself that they were waiting on chicken.
When I asked the 3rd time, he said he would just refund our entire meal. How disgusting is that response. Basically, a manager holding our lunch at ransom. He's simply saying, instead of apologising for the wait, wait longer, or go without.
Yeah mate, because I've just already waited 15 minutes for food, I'll walk out the door with nothing.
When we finally got our food, our friends had already finished their meals.

Read moreI am reminded of a saying we had in the Army. "No point in setting a low standard and failing to maintain it" I came in today and the place was full, and I mean full of flies. Not up to standard guys. Tried again a week after my last review, as I believe McDonald's have a standard, but staff just don't seem to care. Frozen drinks left to melt, burger and chips to get cold while my apple pie cooked. I am sure you have computerised ordering to help prevent this debarcal. One young girl replaced the frozen drink while the young man in charge of my order ignored me. The soggy cold chips and temped burger were not discovered till I went to the car... Will I try again... Perhaps. A McDonalds meal is something I really enjoy normally, particularly at the larger outlets in Cairns and Gordonvale.
