Roscoes Piazza — Restaurant in Queensland

Faultless really, immaculately clean at all times. Service is efficient and friendly. One of the most professionally run restaurants I've experienced in Queensland (I've never left QLD) let alone little ol Innisfail and it's nice to see a family business that is actually improving by generation, its extremely rare. You can appreciate someone or many put their soul into the highest standard of service with love and pride, it's typical genuine family service. I've only ever ordered take away pizza and have gained faith that my dollars are well spent. There is no extra charge for modifying toppings which is a breath of fresh air if you're on a budget. The pizzas are real, with real ingredients, and they TKO hunger. I tap out at 3 slices, maybe a fourth before bed. Which leaves 4 slices for breakfast and lunch tomorrow. Unlike domino's of which I'd eat 2 whole pizza's tonight and wake up starving tomorrow with no left overs. These pizza's are so good you can eat them next day without re-heating, I'm not going to let some inconvenient time consuming gadget like a "microwave" stop me from enjoying my beautiful breakfast pizza. $2 a slice for 5 star pizza why bother...

Roscoes is absolutely spectacular! They catered for a surprise party of 35 people at our home and everything was incredible - the food was flavourful, fresh and delicious as always (particularly the rib fillet and the tortellini), they delivered out to my house perfectly on time, allowed us to use the portable food storage warmer until we were ready to serve, and were an absolute pleasure to deal with all round. Their catering is so reasonably priced for what you get which is the highest tier quality food and service. Maybe pricey for some of us Yanks, but easily the best-quality buffet I've ever had outside of a cruise ship or a hotel that names itself 'Grand' something-or-other. Excellent desserts. Nice variety of antipasti. Some pasta was collapsing but none of it was overdone. Pizza crust is mediocre at best but the toppings are delicious and generous without being messy. Full disclosure: this was a "Beef & Reef" Friday, so we don't know how the seafood-heavy or pizza-heavy nights compare.
