Nodaji Sushi — Restaurant in Queensland

I never share reviews but this was so poor I had to share. I googled sushi near by as I was in town and wanted to know what was open on a Friday afternoon. This one came up and close time was 5pm. I drove past and OPEN sign on, park the car and walk over at 4:35pm. Went to walk in and am meeted at the sliding door by a female staff member who told me they were closed as “all food is all gone”. I look over at the display cabinet and there are rows and rows of sushi left so I respond with “but I can see it, you have loads” and pointed to the display with one foot in the door. She then said “yes but he is taking it home” and pointed to a male back in the kitchen and said “and it’s all dry now”.

I was shocked, looked at her and said “you are closing almost 30 mins early and clearly have stock left to sell, that is SUPER disappointing” and she just shrugged her...

Went here again wednesday 21/07/21 for dine in. Fantastic. What was dissappointing is our local Bundaberg member of state parliament came in for lunch and didnt QR in. Everyone else did but i suppose it doesnt apply to labor. Considering his party leader is the one who introduced the dictator law to check on everyone and then flys to covid ravaged japan. Poor Japanese.

First review--- Went to Bundy Sushi and they were closing so we chose Nodaji just around the corner. So glad we did as this place is a gem. Wont even bother trying the other place now. Sushi was so fresh and well presented. Absolutely delicious and guy behind the register was friendly and helpful. Will try dining in next time and will certainly be trying more of the many menu items....

A nice little Japanese restaurant in the heart of Bundaberg. The place is just off the main street. The food is good and tasty. The staffs here are courteous. We ordered sushi and chicken katsu. They were made fresh in store and were cooked well. We will surely visit them again when we are in...
