Targo Street Bakehouse — Restaurant in Queensland

We call this the vietnamese bakery, they have a variety of fresh bread , freshly prepared sandwiches and rolls, asian snacks, pies and sausage rolls along with delicious cakes and pastries. I think it is the most delicious bakery in town. Nightingales has better pies but the rolls and sandwiches are without doubt the best in town.

Sadly Thier coffee is average, I find it milky and lacking a strong coffee taste. They used to be very cheep, best value in town, that is no longer the case, I personally think they went a little far in increasing prices in the last 2 years. I stopped visiting for a long while because I felt they had lost Thier value proposition. But I do love how there food is so fresh and delicious.

Decided to visit this bakehouse for lunch at 12:30, as it looked appealing. Unfortunately, the pie cabinet was only about 20% full, leaving a very limited selection. It seems the rush must happen before noon. Settled on the Red Wine Pie for $6.20.

Firstly, let me say I liked the goods you baked very well on all my visits, particularly your croissants. One thing stops me visiting unless I have cash on me, that being that whilst you have EFTPOS, some of your staff have been known to snatch my card from my hand to use it. This is just NOT acceptable. I will use MY card in YOUR machine and there is NO need for anyone else to touch it. You would not grab my wallet and help yourself to my cash from it under similar...
