Oliveri's Continental Deli — Restaurant in Queensland

Great food and as honest as you get. Travelling through town on a family holiday, we stopped at Oliveri’s Deli for supplies. We are regular deli shoppers in Melbourne and at the end of the order, we were surprised at the great value for money. When we got taste the food for lunch we equally satisfied with the quality. It wasn’t until the afternoon that I realised that I could not find my wallet, I thought it was a long shot but I contacted the deli to see if anyone had handed it in. Anita Oliveri answered the phone after the store had closed and was more than happy to do everything in her power to help. She was happy to review footage from the store, also make phone calls to staff and took my number just in case she located it. She made contact with her husband, who had found the wallet on the street out the front. He had already attempted to contact me via Facebook. My wallet was returned to me after great effort on his part, with large amount of cash still inside. I could not be more gratefully to this honest man and his thoughtful wife. It means a lot to me. Anytime we pass through Innisfail, we stop at Oliveri's as they offer a variety of sandwich options, including gluten-free. I most recently visited on my birthday (though I did not reveal this) and I was recommended 3 of the most divine cheeses I could ever ask for. Next year, I would consider the drive from Cairns to Innisfail just to purchase my perfect birthday cheeses. Excellent service and...

An Innisfail institution. Great counter service, incredible deli meats, a very good stock of imported ingredients that you just can't find in these parts. Getting a sandwich from here is often the highlight of my day when I'm passing through Innisfail on work runs. Staff are always lovely and helpful too. Would give six stars if I could.
