Not just the best burgers in the Sunshine Coast (although that is a comfortable win for Pearls), but I would say the best food there is to eat in Noosa, full-stop. And one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere in Australia. I don’t say that lightly either - I live in Melbourne and have been to Sydney many times for work. Have tried a lot of the good burger joints in both cities (including 300 Grams, Get Out Of Here Burger and Bar Luca), as well as some of the bigger chains like Five Guys and Betty’s Burgers. Pearls has surpassed them all - I was so pleasantly surprised!
The smashed patties are cooked perfectly and oozing with flavour (I recommend going for a double patty), the bun is perfect, the pickles, cheese … the quality of ingredients and their flavour is exactly what you want. The fries (with chicken salt in my case) are also delicious, golden brown but not over cooked or too many crunchy/oily bits, and the serving portion is super generous. Had a chocolate milkshake too, which again was rich and flavourful, and it was a proper old school thickshake - not chocolatey-flavoured milk.
On top of all this, the prices are super reasonable (they could get away with charging a little more to be completely honest), and the two owners - Kristy and Dominic - seem like two of the nicest, friendliest people you could hope to be at the helm of somewhere like this. And they clearly take great pride in their work - I know their names because they actively wanted to ask how the burger was as I was leaving, and I couldn’t help but start gushing how impressive everything was.
Seriously, do yourself a favour - if you’re anywhere even vaguely this side of town and want a good feed, truly, Pearls as good as it gets. Hope I can be...
Read moreAt first I was disappointed! We stopped briefly one afternoon on our way back from a surf session with the groms at little cove and in need of some refreshments. Drove up and down Gympie terrace looking for something with some healthy options GF and preferably DF. We saw Pearls glowing from the street (great signage guys) and thought why not give it a try as it looked funky. Walked in and saw GF burger options (that was a big tick for the wife) but we were really after a shake of some description and this is where it got disappointing 😔 as they didn’t have any dairy alternatives available. HOWEVER, the manager and can only assume the owner over heard what I was asking if the friendly and polite crew and promptly asked more questions in what we wanted. Just wanted almond milk in there shakes. She was amazing and promptly went down the street to get some from the convenience store. I was blown away with the service from this establishment. So after the initial order of 3 shakes I then ordered a burger to go aswell. Burger was great and possibly the best gluten free bun on the coast. Amazing how far a little service can go. You guys are going to to great with that type of attitude...
Read moreAwesome place and food. I got the classic cheesy . Skinny patty, amazing bun and filling. The patty tasted fantastic. The fact that it was skinnier made the burger feel decadent without being over indulgent.
The strawberry milkshake was amazing. Creamy and refreshing . Like no other milkshake I've ever had before.
My family got the original and crispy chic with another strawberry and Nutella milkshakes. We all went home happy, full , without spending a fortune like at some burger joints.
The staff were amazing, order taken , food served in no time, a brief check in with us during our meal..
Menu on the wall, food served on a reusable plastic tray made me feel like the amount of rubbish was greatly limited.
Thanks team Pearl burger, for a very enjoyable and tasty lunch with a real nice vibe and fair price.
Highly...
