Not so modern. There is nothing modern about this place. The menu tries to please everyone..with dishes from many different parts of Asia. The result in our case was a total lack of flavour. Beef Rendang with a tiny amount of nondescript sauce in the bottom of bowl. Just tasted like boiled beef. ( despite me saying I travel to Singapore and Malaysia a lot, the Owner said “ this is Penang style “. ).😂. My wife’s Thai veggie red curry was just a bowl of cheap vegetable offcuts ..one tiny piece of broccoli and lots of cabbage bits. Again no flavour and no evidence of curry. The owner said “ we don’t use curry paste in our curry ..just chilli “. There are a few successful and popular places in Noosaville. This was quite busy but you would only be happy if you like your Asian utterly flavourless. An utter waste of money and went home hungry. I feel the owner is taking us all for a ride. Suggest she simplifies her menu and buy some fresh spices to go...

Wow, dinner last was seriously NOT GOOD FOOD I have eaten at this restaurant many times over many years, it has been a favourite of ours ever time we are here. However last night the food was inedible largely due to a total lack of flavour in all 3 dishes Garlic prawns had no flavour of garlic and were dominated by a huge serving of vegetables on a sizzle plate The chicken Pad Thai tasted only of watery boiled noodles, no nuts no lime, no fish sauce flavour. The red duck curry sauce again was so watery the flavour/taste was undetectable NOTE TO RESTAURANT- patrons are over being served and having to pay for this low quality food, we no longer can be bothered complaining to the waitstaff (who were delightful) as they do not control the output from the kitchen What we can do is leave an honest review...

First time diners at Rasa Modern Asian Cuisine. Phoned to book a table and the young guy on the phone had a personality that every restaurant owner would love to have to working for them. I felt this is going to be a good night. The greeting on arrival was very professional and with a big smile. Now to the food. Brilliant and all three main meals were so different in flavour but with clean sharpe tastes but not overpowered with chilli. You can order mild, medium and hot and the heat factor is spot on.
