Easy to find, out the front of the boat hire. Public toilets and a playground just up the road. We dropped by early in the morning, parking was tricky and sadly the sun was in the way of a great photo at this time so highly recommend planning a later time to visit if you're after a nice photo (ours was around 8am). Regardless of what time you go, it's a great big...

As seen on Bluey! My family has lived here decades and remember when the Big Pelican was a parade float! It is an important local icon. Take a photo with the Big Pelican and enjoy! There are many live pelicans too which are fed most evenings at sunset by the boat ramp nearby...

Giant statue of a pelican. It was hilarious. Bands were playing, nice sunset bar nearby, nice beach (be careful of sharks), and lovely playground plus small playgrounds on the way (swings) to the big one (pirate playground). Great walk along the water. You cannot climb the pelican. We went on the sunset cruise and it was lovely.
