Peony Place — Restaurant in Queensland

Two weeks ago I had Sunday lunch and was delighted ,food,service,coffee,very good indeed. Went back the following week,service indifferent, burger bun stale and contents dry and unappetising. Totally different experience. Perhaps an off day but won't risk going back.

Since posting above review I have received an apology and a very generous offer of a free meal. I think that my second experience of a lunch must have been on a very bad day and that my first lunch was more typical of what to expect. Had lunch there today 20 th August my friend and I had the loaded potato still wondering where the bacon bits were mainly potatoes melted cheese cabbages mix and sour cream will probably try again there but not order the loaded potato . Had the loaded potato again today 6th November unfortunately it has not improved the menu stated bacon what I received was tiny cut up ham pieces maybe half a teaspoon with potato cabbage and sour cream. The first time coming here was not great, was given stale chips in the nachos and watery coffees. Decided to given this place another chance and was still disappointed. It took over twenty minutes for my order of chips to come out and they werent even busy. The gravy was watery and cold and the coffee was watery and did not have the milk I had asked for.
