Surprisingly Good & Worth the Stop!

Stopped by Red Rooster Emerald on a whim, and I have to say—it exceeded my expectations! The chicken was perfectly crispy yet tender, and the flavors were spot on. I especially loved how fresh everything tasted, from the juicy roast chicken to the crunchy, well-seasoned chips.

What stood out the most was the service. The staff was not only fast but genuinely friendly, making the whole experience feel more welcoming. Even though it’s a fast-food spot, it had a homely vibe that made my meal even more enjoyable.

Needs better management. There's no initiative for staff to get food out quickly. Use to work at a Red Rooster when I was younger and the managers there made it quite clear that the priority is getting good quality food to the customers ASAP. Been in a few times and the management doesn't see all that interested in quick service. Waited over 10 minutes for 2 whole chickens. All they had to do was bag 'em. They're sitting in their over ready to go out. If there's 3 orders and they're waiting on chips to cook for the first one, they'll wait for the chips before going on to the other orders. First time ever having Red Rooster - quite liked meal, I mean for fast food, it was pretty good... Out of peak time, so place was quiet. Low score (3) given for service because I used app and coupon, so should have paid $10 total, but was overcharged ($26.50). Didn't realize until seen on bank statement and an attempt to resolve wheeled no response. If I ever go back, I will ensure I double check what I am being charged before producing my card.

Edit: after doing form on website, was contacted by manager and offered resolution. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. Great service. Hence changed service rating to 5...
