Emerald Kebab House and Woodfire Pizza — Restaurant in Queensland

Terrible experience today! Ordered a small kebab ($10.20) with tabouli added. I was charged $12.20. On the price board, the tabouli is clearly advertised as $1 extra. When I went back to the owner and said that I had been overcharged, she said that I had paid the right price of $1.50 for tabouli and 50c credit card surcharge. I pointed out that tabouli was only $1 extra on her board. She said not to look at the board because her prices had changed and she had charged me accordingly. I informed her that legally she wasn't allowed to do that because she was not being transparent with her pricing. At this point, she very rudely turned away from me, saying that her prices had changed and then started talking to her staff very loudly about being a small business owner as if that gave her the right to charge extra without it being reflected in her pricing. In all honesty, the food is mediocre at best and it's not worth it to put up with her appalling attitude. Surely that 50c extra was not worth losing a customer. I will never return to this place and I urge others to really think about...

At first I was the only person in the shop, I ordered two kebabs then I sat there and watched two people come in and order pizza after me and be served first.. after 25min of sitting and waiting there were now 6 other people in the shop waiting. Finally after the wait the lady put two kebabs on the counter and just said two kebabs.. I said cool are these finally mine? She responded with I'm not sure I think one has no sauce but I'm not sure which one. I thought I really don't care at this point so once I got home I finally opened up my kebab too see two of the smallest, emptiest, burn and deflated looking kebabs I have ever seen missing some of the toppings...

Are they a kebab house? Are they an Italian restaurant? Are they both? Who cares! It's 2021; they can identify however they want but it doesn't matter cos they're AWESOME. Kebabs are exactly what a kebab should be; tasty meat, not over five with the spices, solid choice of sauces and well wrapped. Pizzas are they same; base is delicious, toppings fresh and they don't over do it; far more like a traditional pizza than many traditional pizza stores. 37/10....
